Sad Day

David and I are very sad to have to tell you that one of our twin boys has died. Everything was going well at our second ultrasound, however, at our third ultrasound on February 11 we were shocked and deeply distraught to learn that one twin had died. The doctor said that there was nothing medically that could have been done because it happened so early in the pregnancy and that we may never know exactly what went wrong. Our surviving boy continues to grow and thrive and we look forward to his arrival approximately July 7.

We want to thank all our friends and family for your understanding and kind words during this time. The loss of a child, no matter how small, is devastating. We will forever be the parents of twins and he will always be in our hearts.
