We have entered toddlerhood. I thought for sure it wouldn't come for a few more months but it has arrived. Dylan tells/shows us what he wants. He had gotten much better at expressing himself with both gestures and signs, and finally "words". He certainty let's us know when enough is enough.
His faze of not wanting to be held is over, in fact we've gone the complete opposite of being independent to clingy. We're in the "process" of converting his schedule down to one nap. It's tricky since he's been fighting a little cold...so it's a work in progress.
Our new skill is climbing, boy are we a boy! He loves to push a chair over to the wall to flick the light switch on and off. He certainly has learned cause and effect. And my once eat anything boy has started to have discerning tastes, so mealtime is always a surprise to see if he'll eat his old favorites.
Here's a few pic's from the last month. He never sits still long enough, and he's always grabbing for the camera, so it's as good as it'll get.
