"Extreme" Couponing

Okay so many of you know that I LoVe a CraZy deal. Whenever that new show on TLC, Extreme Couponing, comes on, I get sucked into it. Boy I really wish we had stores that will double coupons then I would have been really successful. I headed to Safeway on Wed. to get some basics. The best part of that shopping trip was getting the fuel discount! Little did I know that certain Safeway coupons online are considered mfg coupons, so I didn't get as good of a deal as I thought I would. According to my receipt I saved 30%. No bad for my first time!

Today I was off to Target. I was mainly after diapers and sunscreen, both of which I had major coupons for plus when you buy 2 you get a $5 gift card. My problem I have decided is that sometimes I buy stuff that isn't on sale, I want it so I buy it. So my bill slowly crept up and up, but I really did need that swimsuit, I just wish it had been on sale, and I really did need new rubber gloves even though I had no coupon and they weren't on sale. Oh, and my Coffee. I have this wonderful Breville Keruig coffee machine, but boy do those k-kups add up, even when they're on sale.

So I hate to tell everyone how much I spent, so I'll tell you I saved....

$52.80! Plus I have an extra $5 gift card to use next time
